I wish to thank everyone who has favourited my work and put me on their watch list. While I try to thank everyone individually it isn't always possible! I always reply to comments, however.

I hope you all know that I'm very grateful for the support you have offerred me - it helps me strive to do better in the future!

14 Features - (Features of the Month - July)

Tue Jul 7, 2009, 7:01 AM

featuresheader

I've decided to start making monthly features since I only use my journal for updates! This month I'll start it off by taking part in ~ImmortalPanda's feature 'meme'!

Rules

1 - I will add the first 13 people to comment on this journal to the Promotional List.
2 - For each of those 14 people, I will put their avatar and three deviations I like from their gallery on the list.
3 - If I feature you, you'll have to do the same in your journal, putting me in first place, completing the list with 14 people in this way.

The idea of this is not to get a free feature, it is to spread art around for everyone!

Immortal Panda makes the loveliest ponies, and I'm always in awe of her painting skills. She's also multi-talented and has various medias showcased in her gallery:

:iconmagicpotion:

I've known Magic Potion since we were at school together, when we were about 14 years old. I use to watch her draw during lessons (lol) and admired her work even then. Nearly ten years later, she has improved beyond compare, and I'm still awed by her drawings!:

:iconeleganza-bella:

Eleganza Bella's gallery is full of beautiful handmade jewellery - I'm usually very hard put to pick my favourites because each piece is so unique and elegant. Best of all, she sells them too!:

About

Hi there! I'm Susan. I'm twenty-three years old and currently live in London, UK.

I joined DA back in 2005. I'd heard some great things about this place and upon joining found so many wonderful artists that it was impossible for me to leave! I am a varied artist myself, dabbling in little bits of everything when the notion takes me. I prefer at present to create artwork via traditional means, and have a great love for watercolours. I haven't yet found a particular 'niche' but am happy enough tinkering about as I am!

I am an aspiring writer and am currently on the job hunt! I have a love for beauty and elegance - elements of life I feel in this day and age are slowly being forgotten - and I strive to find a little bit of it every day.

Thank you for popping by and please do enjoy your stay!

Thanks you for the :+fav:
One of these days I'll do the mod-pony that I want to do.
Ever played with a Barbie? Would I be able to use the putty stuff on them?

You're welcome. :)

I'd love to see it! No, I haven't personally customised a Barbie but I know it's possible. I'm sure you'd be able to use clay, but I'd check before using the kind you have to bake - I've no idea how a Barbie would cope in the oven! If it's any help I use Apoxie Clay or Milliput which dries on its own without help.
