JournalI know some of my KOTOR friends have wondered when (if ever) I'll be uploading more Star Wars artwork. The truth is, I haven't forgotten, but I'm putting it all on hold for a little while. I have plenty of ideas and even some sketches/lineart waiting to be inked and coloured, but I'm not in a position to complete them right now. Blame being in between homes, heh. The only easy way to channel my creative talents is through MLP Customs (which I can keep in a carrier bag and work on when I have free time, without mess), so that is what I'm doing. But I will, I promise, get some fandom artwork uploaded at some point.
In regard to MLP Customs, I'm still new to it. I've found pretty early on that I prefer to make elegant looking ponies by taking battered G1s and G3s and improving them. I've also been buying brand new G3s from Woolworths if I like the base colours to see what I can do with them. I constantly have new ideas going through my head - I never knew how addictive customising would be! Once I'm more familiar with customising, and once I've improved and honed my style a bit, I'll try and give you all some more details about the way I work. I would recommend checking out Darkhorse, lovelauraland, trillions, Woosie, eponyart, pop-girl and sammytvr (among many) to view some exceptional customs.
